Not a day goes by that you don’t hear about yet another multinational opening up a technology center in Romania. This time, it’s the other way around.
We have just launched our brand-new software R&D center in Grenoble, France, the first step in our planned international expansion.
Liviu Apolozan, our CEO, explained the evolution of DocProcess that led us to the present moment:
“In 2005, after 15 years of working in the IT area in France, we have returned to Romania and have set up DocProcess. These past 13 years of existence have led us through several stages of development, the most important one being the shift from consulting services to services based on the use of on our own concept and development platform. Today we have reached a point when we plan to go international.”
The new French team is comprised of five software specialists, led by Jean-Dominique Sorace, Technical Director overseeing both Romanian and French departments. After working for many years in a multinational, our new colleagues joined DocProcess in order to work on an original product based on the latest technologies such as micro-services and of course, to research how to best use AI and blockchain on our financial RPA platform.
Why did we choose France, you might wonder? Because it is a mature market, ripe with opportunities. Even though DocProcess already has 50 employees in both Romania and France, we plan to continue to expand. Our wish is to work with the best of the best software developers, no matter where they are in the world. However, we are also looking for people who can understand the opportunity of working in a company with global ambitions that is developing its own product.
The launch was met with enthusiasm by the press. You can read some of their articles here:
